TMC Fine Jewellers® (formerly The Moissanite Company) was founded by Makayla and Tom in 2020, followed by the creation of Cultured Clarity®, with both brands rooted in bespoke craftsmanship, ethical innovation, and attainable luxury.

Drawing on nearly a decade of experience at the forefront of the Australian jewellery industry, Makayla was inspired by the journey of designing her own dream ring, now known as ‘The Luise Ring®,’ a heartfelt tribute to her great-grandmother. Together, Makayla and Tom immersed themselves in the design and creation process, from the first sketch to the final setting. This deeply personal experience inspired their desire to share what they had created and offer likeminded couples an experience they were once seeking.

What began as a passion project soon evolved into a conscious business, with Makayla and Tom united in their vision to offer couples a meaningful, bespoke experience. Their goal: to make exceptional jewellery, once out of reach, attainable without compromising on quality or ethics.

Guided by their unique insights and hands-on experience, they have built a community driven brand that supports couples on one of life’s most intimate and memorable journeys.

Today, Makayla and Tom proudly operate TMC Fine Jewellers® and Cultured Clarity® from Brisbane and Sydney, supported by a close-knit, dedicated team. As parents to two young daughters, they beautifully balance their love for family with their passion for creating jewellery that celebrates life’s most cherished milestones.
